10 Years From Now....
Time flies by fast...
Just yesterday I was 4 years old, just starting out music for the first time.
The next thing I know, I'm about to turn 18 and make my new life in college.
Maybe if I blink one more time, I will be 28 years old and have released a big hit.
Who knows.
The possibilities and gateways to such are endless.
Anyways, that aside. I'm certainly sure that literature will be a big part of my college journey and I've created some goals reflecting this.
I plan to read at least a novel every summer for the next ten years.
I've also created a list of some novels I should start with, in hopes of finish these quickly and finding more "gems" of novels in the future.
- Three Men in a Boat by Jerome K. Jerome
There will definitely be stressful times in the long road ahead so any novel that is listed as a comedic hit would be a saviour for my mental health.
- The Periodic Table by Primo Levi
As someone who is going to be aiming for medical school after undergraduate years and loves chemistry, this will be a fulfilling read.
- An Artist of the Floating World by Kazuo Ishiguro
Post-war Japan is a very interesting setting to me and I would love to learn more historical facts about it. Hence, this would be great to read for me.
- Don Quixote by Miguel de Cervantes
After hearing so many people talk about how this classic is a must-read, I should probably follow suit and witness this masterpiece for myself.
